None of the Russian-English dictionary apps I have tried (7) is very good. Oxford was the best, but changing the software development company caused a host of problems. SlovoEd suffers from a number of deficiencies. A paper dictionary ALWAYS includes a list of abbreviations and special symbols because there are hundreds of them, but not SlovoEd. So cryptic sequences of characters in Russian and English are indecipherable, e. g. look up the word for "to know" and you see "знать I гл. (вн. о пр.) know (d.)" And some letters are in italics, some in different colors. Not useful. When I sent a note to SlovoEd for help, it took them 34 days to say that no, there is no table of symbols, but you can look on the Internet, so sorry, but the only site we can direct you to is entirely in Russian. The Russian dictionary apps are not as good as paper, just less bulky.
